If we all wore N95s we could drive transmission way down, but as a practical matter not down to zero—it will never be perfect and people aren't going to wear them at home. It's not an elimination strategy. If we ever want to take them off again, we need to do something else.

We could get to the point where we could entertain #zerocovid. The way it’s going with vaccines, clearly vaccines aren’t going to get us there alone. We need to physically control the virus.

We can't entertain zerocovid. It's just not happening. Certainly not if we ever want a world with international travel and few or no NPIs at home.
