Huge news. By an overwhelming 80%+ vote, the Arizona Democratic Party has passed a resolution pledging a vote of NO CONFIDENCE in @KyrstenSinema if she fails to vote to reform the filibuster or doesn't support the #BuildBackBetter reconciliation bill. Enough. #EndTheFilibuster

As our 11 Senate colleagues said this week, there was a deal. They would vote on the infrastructure bill because the Build Back Better Act would move simultaneously, to guarantee that both bills — the President's entire agenda — pass. We're holding up our end of that bargain.

Respectfully, I did watch. You said $3.5 trillion isn’t a red line (i.e. we’re willing to go down further). Whether you will or won’t, preemptively signaling you’ll keep moving further to corp Dems number is best way to finish with a much more watered down bill
Respect the thread. But I hope people will watch the interview & judge for themselves! I was resolute on key issues while showing we are open to working for a success.

If the poorest large city in the nation can do this, any city can — it’s just a matter of will. We know this system works. Now, I'm working to make the diversion program permanent so we can finally end poverty-based evictions in Philadelphia. usatoday.com/story/news/nati…

For reference, @BernieSanders has consistently said he will not go down below $3.5 trillion. Whether he will or won't (he likely will), he's not preemptively giving his cards away thus guaranteeing the bill will be significantly watered down.

Why @rokhanna is on @cnn saying progressives are willing to go below $3.5 trillion on the reconciliation package is beyond me. Why preemptively signal to corporate Dems you'll agree to MORE watering down when you already compromised from $6 trillion down to $3.5 trillion?

People froze to death because of Texas’ weak power grid. The bottom line is that we weren’t ready for a climate crisis like February’s winter storm, we still aren’t. But hey, critical race theory and controlling women’s bodies comes first, right? wfaa.com/article/news/local/…

If people can’t go to work because they can’t get child care, and small businesses have to shut down because they can’t find the employees they need, all of a sudden we’re in a downward spiral. We can’t build a 21st-century economy without quality, affordable child care.
