Was going to stop referring to 9/11 in my first class for Religions of the World survey this fall, but people started falling from planes in Kabul just in time.

Eleanor Holmes Norton showed a 51 state flag with a new field of stars, 3 rows of 9 and 3 rows of 8, on Colbert Tuesday. Prettier than our squared-off 50 is now. And the new state should be Potomac, the Algonquian word for meeting place.

Adams’s unorthodox path to leadership began in the hotbed of Brooklyn’s Black activist politics of the 1970s and 80s, which were infused with, and ran alongside, an equally powerful movement of Afrocentric cultural pride. nydailynews.com/opinion/ny-o…

I am begging everyone to move past "trans people exist" and towards "trans people are my colleagues, my friends, and my family and deserve to have decent lives just like the rest of us" see? it's still mediocre, but it's better.

A week of takeout food holders for two adults who don't cook. To recycle, is it more ecologically sound to wipe them with two paper towels then rinse quickly with water, or to use just water and use more? And must we make these from oil that formed over eons and never degrades?
