URGENTE: Estamos recebendo relatos de moradores do Jacarezinho (comunidade onde nasci e cresci, e onde minha família e muitos amigos ainda vivem) informando que o BOPE está cercando a favela e executará a ocupação do território.

On CNN, repeating mindless pablum from CIA officials convinces people they are doing "journalism." Imagine starting a good portion of your sentences with: "on my show tonight, ex CIA operatives tell us..." and then convince yourself that you do something resembling journalism.
on @OutFrontCNN, former CIA Moscow station chief @StevenLHall1 notes that one reason Russia feels emboldened now is the success of its efforts to divide/weaken the United States much of that success results from its efforts to boost Donald Trump and co-opt U.S. conservatives

I'm still looking at this tweet with amazement: Putin's willingness to threaten Ukraine a full year into Biden's presidency isn't because of Biden but because of Trump. How much of a fucking partisan hack do you have to be to claim that in public?

Trump was such a Putin stooge that Russia waited for the Biden presidency to challenge NATO 🤔 Hard to imagine a more resounding empirical destruction of 4 years of Russia punditry than Putin’s response to the Biden presidency over Ukraine.
Russia annexed Crimea under Obama and now, says the Biden WH, might invade Ukraine. Wouldn't they have done such things when they had a blackmail puppet they controlled in the WH? Is there anything that can make the CNN/NYT axis re-consider their demented conspiracy theory?

I love how all the people who prattled on about sacred Norms for 4 years want to abolish entire parts of the government the minute they impede their will. Also, a random person from the street is funnier than Colbert. How was every nighttime TV host trained to echo Nancy Pelosi?
CBS's Stephen Colbert proposes the Senate be eliminated if the filibuster can't be axed b/c "[i]t is the most anti-Democratic institution next to the judiciary b/c [it's]...the way it is b/c the Senate is the way it is...I cannot understand what...positive purpose [it] provides"

Trump spent 4 years attacking 2 core Russian vital interests: he 1) flooded Ukraine with lethal arms to fight Russia (which Obama refused to do) and 2) did everything to sabotage Moscow's pipeline to Germany (which Biden allowed). The Trump-as-Putin-pawn is QAnon-level insane.

Along with NBC, the New Yorker, the Atlantic and NYT, Ground Zero for the insane Trump-is-Putin's-blackmail-pawn conspiracy theory was CNN. They were led around by CIA to spread the most unhinged conspiracy. Now they really believe they fight, rather than spread, "misinformation"

So the definitive statements made by Adam Kinzinger swallowed by the media about how Ray Epps never worked with FBI were based not no sworn testimony but just "informal meetings" with the Committee, and the denial was confined just to FBI, not all government agencies? LOL.
Ray Epps, a former Arizona Oath Keeper at the center of pro-Trump conspiracy theories related to Jan. 6., intends to sit for a transcribed interview with the select committee investigating the attack on the Capitol politico.com/news/2022/01/18…

As always: don't let the Ray Epps case distract from this crucial fact: more than one year after 1/6 - with DOJ conducting what it says is its largest investigation ever and a parallel investigation in Congress - they all refuse to say how many FBI informants/agents participated.

BREAKING: It appears that Herschel Walker, an adult male, may occasionally enjoy looking at sexually explicit material on the internet involving adult women.😱 😲
"A review of Senate candidate Herschel Walker’s Instagram account shows he follows several accounts with links to racy material. One of the accounts has a name not suitable for a family newsletter." ajc.com/politics/politics-bl…

The FBI, evidently finished with its deeply genuine and somber tribute to the legacy of MLK (whom it attempted to blackmail into suicide) today explains that they are very concerned about bad actors trying to undermine cyber security in order to illegally spy on people. 🇺🇸
Deputy Assistant Director Tonya Ugoretz of the #FBI's Cyber Division reflected on recent #cybersecurity trends during last week’s @PostLive program.

The discrepancy between how vocal and devoted are press freedom groups throughout the west to denouncing, warning of and working against the US/UK persecution of Assange, and how indifferent or supportive many western journalists are, is striking.
Reporters Without Borders Rebecca Vincent: "We all know more about war crimes/human rights abuses (because of Julian Assange)...its only the publisher being pursued here...there is no public interest defense..its a very dangerous precedent" #FreeAssangeNOW @RSF_inter @AJEnglish

I've long been a fan of @coldxman's political and interviewing work, but when I heard he had a new rap video, I didn't know what to expect given how wrong such things often go. It defies expectations: take a look. invidious.poast.org/watch?v=YEkFBVEr…
