This is correct. And because this applies to large swaths of US liberalism -- the defining attribute of which is reverence for institutional authority -- liberals (led by journalists) are by far the most fervent supporters of censorship generally & particularly online.
Only infantile bootlickers want government-tied monopolistic internet platforms controlling what people can and cannot say about government Covid responses that affect everyone.
"That person is weird and says untrue things and therefore I dislike them": a completely normal and healthy human reaction. "And therefore I'm happy when the union of state and corporate monopoly power acts to silence them": the hallmark of an authoritarian mentality.
