Astonishing: after spending five years pretending to be so deeply concerned about attack on press freedom -- by which they meant adolescent insults from Trump to Jim Acosta -- the WH is on day 5 of threatening social media companies and outlets and nobody, including @ACLU, cares.
White House comms director Kate Bedingfield says social media companies “should be held accountable” for misinformation on their platforms: “There are conservative news outlets who are creating irresponsible content.”

CNN and MSNBC creates misinformation and gaslighting content everyday. Will you hold them accountable, or is it just conservative media you are targeting? Either way, this will not play out very well.

No source of misinformation during the pandemic was worse than the US Government. NIAID Director Dr Fauci said "people should not be walking around in masks." You can't trust the Government to decide what's true and what's misinformation. They want to censor free speech.
