I cannot believe we didn’t follow the New Zealand strategy of being located thousands of miles from anywhere.

The disintegration and collapse of the UK Labour Party under Sir Kier Starmer is one of the most schadenfreude-inducing episodes in politics ever. It's majestic.

If you don't think KS will advance the class struggle you're possibly not understanding social democracy correctly from a Marxist viewpoint

Actually you were vastly overestimated
I quite like being underestimated because then I can just prove them wrong. Ahead of my speech opening Labour conference tomorrow I spoke to @thetimes about how my early life shaped who I am, my politics and who I am here to represent and fight for. thetimes.co.uk/article/e049f…

In 2020, pro Israel lobby groups and individuals spent over $33 million on funding members of US congress. Today, US congress voted to give another billion $ to Israel which will give it to US arms company Raytheon and Israeli arms company Rafael to make the Iron dome system.

It’s important to note which progressives buckle under pressure from the Israel lobby because Palestinians are always 1st to be thrown under the bus. But it never ends there. It’s the surest sign those individuals will kneel to other vested interests the closer they get to power.

Go to any diner in Western Pennsylvania you'll surely find everybody talking about how excited they are that the House of Representatives just near-unanimously approved an extra $1 billion in military aid to Israel

6. No one should be told to wear masks. For the general population they are useless against covid. If someone wants to wear them anyway, have at it.

How we should be reacting to covid based on evidence as I see it. 1. People who have had covid should live completely normal lives. Their risk from covid is tiny. They won’t spread covid either, so it is very safe to be around them. The evidence on this is very, very clear.

The soft left’s attempt to distance from Starmer is so lame and pathetic
So nice to live in this era of cover versions. Rick Astley as Morrissey. The Labour leadership as 1996. All delivered by performers amazed to find themselves still on stage and audiences aghast at being stuck in the same room, the snakebite and black dripping down their trousers.

The soft left are both spineless and stupid. If the public want bland reassurance then why did so many support Brexit even with it being just an ongoing nightmare? They can never answer that question and so they hide in focus groups.

So mental. This is the group at LEAST RISK. The contagion of stupidity goes on….
Message to me from UC Berkeley student who was reprimanded in front of an entire class for daring to take a brief sip of water, in a room full of people who'd already submitted to mandatory vaccination

Keith Starmer doesn’t stand for anything. The soft left don’t stand for anything. If they spoke from the heart , they would actually sound like Jeremy Corbyn. Which is exactly why they never do.

If you've not read Keir Starmer's essay it's basically like if they did a Christmas annual of Labour press releases

Deselect this Tory lite rubbish
.@UKLabour is not a club or pressure group. It exists to win elections. Something we failed to do in last 4 General Elections. In 2019 we LOST 59 sets. Most in formerly strong seats. Do you think that people are trying to tell us something? Do we exist for ourselves or for others

Unions are middle class technocrats who do a crap job for their members
New: Am reliably told GMB union offered support for Starmer’s deal on the electoral college if Ed Miliband was removed from the shadow cabinet and the Green New Deal ditched. Hence Miliband bizarrely now against change introduced under his own leadership (1/2)
